The Cascade Volcanoes have been my primary motivation for visiting the PNW. This chain of volcanoes runs from Northern California into Canada, and are part of the ring of fire. The Cascades claim well-known mountains such as Shasta, Rainier, Hood, and Mt. St. Helens, all offering amazing scenery, hiking, and climbing opportunities.
